Norbert Thunder is a unique figure in the Electro-Techno and EBM scene, embodying the spirit of what could be called „Glampunk to the bone.” His music is a rebellious, avant-garde blend of elegant and gritty Electro-Techno, heavily inspired by the aesthetics and sonic dominance of the early 2000s electroclash era. This period, marked by artists like Tiga, Green Velvet, and DJ Hell, deeply influenced Thunder, who was an active participant in the vibrant party scene between 2002 and 2005. Although he fully immersed himself in the electroclash movement of the early 2000s, attending countless iconic events, Thunder took his time to enter the production world. His debut 12″ EP, Fembot Actress, was released only in late 2022 on the respected French techno label ParTouT Records. This label has a reputation for releasing work from pioneering artists like Juan Atkins, Orlando Voorn, and Chris Korda, marking Thunder’s entry into the music scene with a strong endorsement.
